Who would win MCU Ego or Dormammu

Time to speculate: what's coming after Thanos ?!

Thanos (Josh Brolin) is hands down the greatest villain the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ever seen, but there is still a bigger one.

The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy shouldn't get bored, and there is probably no doubt that they are the insane Titan in Avengers - Endgame will somehow defeat. What he's inAvengers - Infinity War has done, but can not stand there.

So what's next? What big bad will the next MCU era bring us? Who will fill the void Thanos leaves and be built as the next boss for our superheroes? We thought about it a few times and collected possible candidates. Very important: You are cordially invited to discuss and speculate. And if you have other, maybe better ideas, always let them out!

The mandarin

We actually thought we'd be in the MandarinIron man 3 see, but it was just Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley). Nevertheless: From the Marvel-One shot All Hail the King we know that there is also a real Mandarin in the MCU topping the ten rings. He could not threaten the entire universe like Thanos, but at least cause some trouble on Earth and keep the Avengers busy while the Guardians jet off into space again.

Thane

Imagine if Thanos were finally defeated after a hard fight and everything was back to normal - until suddenly it turns out that he has a son who is in no way inferior to his cruelty. That would be Thane, and there would be two ways to position him as the new head villain in the MCU: He could avenge his father and want to finish his work. Or hate him - which would be closer to the comics - so much that he wants to surpass him in every way.

Doctor Doom

From a legal point of view, this is no longer an impossibility! Victor of Doom aka Doctor Doom is one of the most famous and infamous villains in the entire Marvel-Universe, only in his previous film appearances he has never been portrayed as it is due to him. The Marvel Studios could fix this shortcoming now that the character rights of 20th Century Fox on Disney have passed over. And thus secure even more comic fan sympathies if they do it right.

Galactus

Like Doctor Doom one of the greatest Fantastic FourOpponent, and after being inFantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer was more or less disfigured (it was a cloud!) they would have Marvel Studios at Galactus also the chance to do everything better. The world destroyer and planet eater would definitely be a size bigger than Thanos and would bring a lot of appetite. You could also use it to introduce the Silver Surfer to the MCU.

Scarlet Witch

What if the Avengers' next great adversary came from within their own ranks? At the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) "World War Hulk" could have been used, but that will probably not happen again. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) would also be powerful enough if it reached its full potential. InAvengers - Age of Ultron she has already given the avengers a hard time, and there is the "House of M" storyline in which she goes nuts and loses control ...

Magus

Sooner or later Adam Warlock comes to the MCU, which has one of the many post-credit scenes from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 approved. He is supposed to be for Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) flatten the Guardians. In the comics he plays a central role in the fight against Thanos, where his evil alter ego, the Magus, himself takes hold of the Infinity Gauntlet. A threat so terrible that the superheroes even have to team up with Thanos to stop him.

Dormammu

Dormammu, a cosmic entity with the power to destroy worlds! If that doesn't work as an MCU final boss, then what? And what time would be more favorable to attack the earth than after the final battle against Thanos, when the Avengers are fought and (possibly) decimated? A second time Dormammu is unlikely to get away from a tiny guy like Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) be tricked, especially not in its dark dimension.

The X-Men

Yes why not? Anything is possible now, and in the comics the mutants and superheroes clashed too. It should only be a matter of time before Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto and Co. (then all newly manned, of course) show up in the MCU, and then things are guaranteed to go smoothly. Such a nice team vs. team conflict at the beginning would have something. Or you work bit by bit towards what the Marvel Studios are known to be specialists.

These would be our ideas for the next MCU top villain or the next MCU top villain, depending. Now it's your turn! How realistic do you think these suggestions are? Can you think of others? We are excited!
