Hello @all

I have a problem with my Sagem Dbox2 Sat. After a short circuit in the power supply, which I have already replaced, the box can no longer find any transmitters. Now I have measured what is arriving at the antenna output, and nothing there, I conclude LNBK 20 defective. I got myself a new LNBP 20 should be a bit better. Now the whole soldered in went also quite well, but at the antenna output only 12.24V now come, it should be 14 / 18V.
Can someone help me there what can still be defective.

PS: I took another measurement on the tuner board and there is 24V on a pin. That should be enough, right?

As long as something is still shown in the display, the I.O. be. There is also a small choke coil on the tuner board that can break down.

Hi
that's exactly how I see it, because it's a well-known prob. at the DBox.

Hello
I'll see the front processor again and see if that works.

@conviva
can you tell me exactly where this inductor is located.

Hi
I still have a question about the front processor, since I would like to install it myself, it would be interesting for me how warm this chip can get. I have a soldering station with a hot air blower, so I would like to do it, or do I have to get an attachment for IC chips that only heats the legs of the chip.
